I’m just now recuping from the Tucson Festival of Books (#TFOB on twitter). Based on their entertaining and enlightening author sessions, here are the titles on my ‘to read’ list:
Megan McCafferty’s Perfect Fifths, story takes place over 18 hours and her publisher let her include 80 pages of pure dialogue- I can’t wait!
Janette Rallison’s Fair Godmother (YA)-she gave really helpful advice to new writers -what if a fairy failed out of godmother school and only got a ‘fair’ rating. it’s been optioned for the big screen!
Laura Fitzgerald’s One True Theory of Love
Page & Dornenburg’s The Flavor Bible (okay, not a read, but a kitchen reference and check them out in this month’s Oprah mag)
Jill Wolfson’s Cold Hands Warm Heart (YA)-teen dies, follows the story of who gets the organs
